Last year MaximaTelecom upgraded the network on request of Central Suburban Passenger Company: the number of SIM cards increased depending on the operator. This was done to stabilize the functioning of the network, as the coverage of base stations in the Moscow region is not as dense as in Moscow.
Free Wi-Fi that appeared on suburban trains of Central Suburban Passenger Company in February 2016 is part of the MT_FREE united Wi-Fi space in the Moscow transit system. Trains with Internet connection are marked with stickers in the train cars.
